Science
Science is a mandatory subject for all students in Years 7-10. In science students explore a wide range of topics designed to develop their understanding of the natural and physical world. They engage with biology, chemistry, physics, and earth and space sciences through hands-on experiments, investigations, and critical thinking activities. The curriculum encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and the application of scientific knowledge to real-life situations, preparing students for further studies and informed decision-making in everyday life.
Students also develop their skills to work scientifically. By engaging in scientific inquiry, they develop a deeper appreciation of the development of science as an evolving body of knowledge and of the complex relationship between evidence and ideas.
