English

At Port Hacking High School, we are committed to fostering confident, thoughtful and articulate students who read with insight, write with purpose and communicate with clarity. We empower students to engage with a diverse range of texts, perspectives and voices so they can understand themselves, others and the world around them. Through explicit teaching of language, text and critical thinking, we nurture curiosity, creativity and independence. Our goal is to equip every student with the skills needed to participate ethically, empathetically and effectively in a complex and ever-changing world.
